Material was sourced in the following manner:
1) All content was found using Google and links provided in candidate websites. For example one website has links to hundreds of different types of content including a fair amount of the targeted content. Due diligence was done to find additional websites using the names of popular content so as to make sure a good set of sample websites were found.
2) All potential content was screened for appropriate titles or designations. For example Futa was used because some content or sites will use Futa for trans content with innappropriate labeling. Trans, Transgender, Transformation, Sissification, Ladyboy, and other tags were used to find content before an evaluation of the content was made.
3) Content was examined if there was any indication the content could be related to the study. While ultimately not all content was examined, efforts were made that make sure the statistical balance is not going to result in a high level of a margin of error. The Margin of Error fot this study is at maxiumum 1.95%
4) All content that was deemed possible was added to the examine in detail list, of which is the whole of the Excel file. Then the following criteria was used to examine games: a) Very popular content, b) a random selection based upon cross web platform popularity, c) a random method using the names in alphabetical order to examine them.
5) The content was broken down into sub-categories based upon the findings, with the thesis observation of a near impossible statistical outcome being proven.
